We work out our glutes to get a Kardashian booty, our arms to look and feel strong, and our core to negate the need for spanx. But emotional strength? That’s buildable muscle too.
Hope is a muscle. Gratitude is a muscle. Emotional strength is a muscle. Anxiety management is a muscle.
When we work at these muscles we feel happy and strong. The days we skip, or have a “cheat day”, we pay for it dearly. Work at it. Practice skills like you practice your planks and your body, mind, and spirt will thank you.
