I’m so type A.
I mean my lists have lists and I will overthink everything.
I’m the poster child for why mindfulness is important. I’d be a hot mess (more so than I already am) without it.
I cannot express how much it helps quiet my mind, focus my thoughts, and soothe my soul. My most favorite moment of the day lately is just rocking my baby before putting her down. Listening to her breathe, feeling her hair under my palm, sniffing that little baby head 😍…just being. Noticing. Being fully present.
As the year draws to a close and the days become busier and busier, I challenge everyone to take a moment in their day to be quiet in all the noise and just take it in for a moment. Notice the sights, smells, and sounds around you, especially when you’re with those you treasure most. In all the craziness there is such beauty and peace. Sometimes we (self included) just need that gentle reminder.
